Playing the lottery is becoming more and more popular today. Much more exciting and fun isn't it? You have to choose the five numbers that you think will be the winning combination and you have to pay $1.00 to play. Playing the Florida Lotto requires you to pick five number from 1 to 53. You will also be asked for the card number if you would like to order an Easy Pick. Simply choose 1 to 4 Easy Pick numbers in the play slip and the computer will generate the winning number combination for you. The Kansas Hot Lotto requires you to pick 5 numbers from 1 to 39, plus an additional number from the Hot Lotto number. You also have to choose Kansas Hot Lotto numbers in your Play slip. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1-in-3.14-million. As I stated earlier, each game has its own unique odds and once you know the odds, you can probably work out which game is the one that will suit you the best. However, it's not just about knowing the odds; you also need to know what strategies will help you maximise your chances of winning. There are many strategies that you could use to help you win. Some of them are the numbers that you will choose, the ones that have come up recently in the draws, the Hot Number Strategy, Cold Number Strategy, Frequently Used Numbers and the Quick Pick Strategy. There are also some wheeling strategies and number wheeling systems.
However, you could also use number patterns instead. Although these are not a surefire way to win the jackpot, they are very easy to work out and won't take you that much time.
Obviously, the hotter numbers ( those that have won the most) have more chances to win the jackpot whereas the cold numbers are those that have not won as much as the hot numbers. So you could use the hot numbers as your winning strategy. Check out the numbers and sort them by how long (meaning how many times) they have been drawn. Hot numbers mean that they have been drawn recently whereas the cold numbers are those that have not been drawn in quite a while. If you have chosen enough numbers, you should be able to maximise your chances of winning the jackpot.
