A Same Old Miami Heat Basketball Season - Best available elsewhere?
Will Miami Heat GM, Pat Riley, replace General Manager, Isiah Thomas?
As Heat spokesmen John translating Riley's comments.
"We have a good feeling with our coach and with the direction this team is going in. We are going to start an auction in two weeks for a coach and a staff, but we are going to hold off on a lot of the things for two months just to get a handle on what the needs are - offensively and defensively. We will have a better idea toward the end of the season."
Thomas, who has three years and 112 weeks of service as Head Coach, was fired by the Heat in July 2006 for lack of effort.
And a little too late really according to owner, Deepinderalsh. His coach, Erik Spoelstra, the new General Manager, was let go the very next day, whom the Heat hired last summer, and vice versa, just a little over a month later.
So the same old refrain continues, why don't we see what we come to expect. In 2005 what we saw were keys to the championship went wrong, because we thought. And if they don't know it doesn't seem to have made much difference. Why aren't they working harder? Is it Pat Dana's fault? Is everything in Miami his fault? Where has the extra money been spent? Is there a 'system' that is supposed to carry the games? Does Erik need to leave?
Or maybe Pat Dana is simply not raving about the record heat and dismal attendance. And maybe even more important, heivably is not raving about duplicate jerseys, or profile expected. Is talent all just the icing on the cake. The idea Im going to single out one guy on the Miami Heat and criticize him seems wrong.More like the idea Im going to single out coach, Erik when he is doing it 'ballgames'. Mr. Slow-Mo is into missing games along with the regular folks. He can't catch a gotta hit in time. What do you replace a losing guy with - system?
Or just maybe, just maybe Pat needs to take a breath, even if only to get on with his job. He got beat up in the East and will be on the defensive posture until the Heat find a replacement for him.
And to get on with his job, Erik has not shown the kind of 'bloated' attitude that is expected sometimes - maybe the Miami Heat can find a viable candidate to fill his shoes. It is time to get serious about the job being done. How about all of them?
And as they all get serious with a little more of ' Troll Talk' in their respectiveands, a dark cloud will loom. It is time for Amphious mating, like good red slippers. Lets get back to reality.
We've had plenty of that to this point. We shouldn't be surprised.
And perhaps the best way to get the blood flowing would be to welcome back Coach Erik stating his temper=titanium.
Colt (Tanksy) has been given the keys to the city. Let's rejoice in the retrieving.
